Mr. Shinto Babu, research student of Optics & Spectroscopy lab, department of Physics, Union Christian College, Aluva has received startup grant from Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC), M G university. The project titled “Non-Destructive and Rapid Method for Quality Assurance of Fruits and Vegetables using Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy” will be carried out under the guidance of Dr. Reshmi R and Dr. Shinoj V K. The Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC), @ Mahatma Gandhi University, established in 2016 with the seed capital donated by the Government of Kerala, aspires to support innovations / incubations / entrepreneurship by extending administrative, academic and financial support to students through R&D support, start-up grants, patent facilitation, and entrepreneurship support.
