Workshop on innovative techniques in physics invokes wide inspiration
One day workshop on INNOVATIVE EXPERIMENTS & PROJECTS IN PHYSICS (GRADUATE LEVEL) was held at the Mithrapuram Auditorium, U C College on March 3rd, 2012. The workshop was organised by the Department of Physics, U C College, Aluva, together with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT).The Workshop was conducted by Prof. Sarmistha Sahoo, HOD, Physics, Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women, Bangalore, IAPT National Award Winner for Innovative Experiments in Physics.
Eighty two students and faculty from 7 colleges of MG University participated in the workshop. The workshop consisted of inspiring presentation and demonstration on topics: Optic black box, Radioactivity using dies, Polarisation made easy etc.
